Christmas 1999

Our Dear Friends,

We wish you a very Happy and meaningful Christmas and a blessed New Year.

As you will have proved, no doubt, things don't always work out as expected! We, David and Kathryn were enjoying our "meeting free" month of August, when David had abdominal pains. In the end this meant surgery and the removal of his appendix also, some adhesions caused by ongoing Diverticular problems. Early meetings in September were cancelled, but he was able to resume ministry on the 26th. Unfortunately, he has experienced a bout of depression, which is taking a while to get over. This has meant that Hospital and Home visitation and other emotional involvement has not been possible. On Medical and Pastoral advice, we are trying to adjust our lives to a less hectic pace!

We are deeply grateful for all the loving help given during these past months and the many phone calls and cards. Romans 8 v 28 still holds good!

Both Matthew and Rachel are doing well in their studies at Southampton and Bournemouth respectively.

We all send our love and very best wishes.

David, Kathryn, Matthew and Rachel (Cole)
